MicroNeedling
Microneedling
Smoother texture. Brighter-looking skin. A refreshed glow. ✨
Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin treatment designed to support your skin’s natural renewal process. Using a professional microneedling device, tiny controlled microchannels are created in the skin, stimulating the natural production of collagen and elastin as the skin heals.
This treatment is a great option for clients who want to improve the overall texture, tone, and appearance of their skin without dramatically changing the way they look.
Microneedling May Help Improve:
-
Fine lines and wrinkles
-
Acne scars and other superficial scarring
-
Enlarged pores
-
Uneven or rough skin texture
-
Uneven-looking skin tone
-
Dull or tired-looking skin
-
The appearance of stretch marks
-
Overall skin firmness and smoothness
What to Expect
Your treatment begins with a consultation and skin assessment to determine whether microneedling is appropriate for your skin and concerns. A topical numbing product may be used for comfort before treatment.
Afterward, your skin may look pink or red and feel warm or tight, similar to a mild sunburn. Mild dryness, sensitivity, or flaking can occur as the skin begins its renewal process. Downtime varies by treatment intensity and individual skin response.
Before Your Appointment
Avoid excessive sun exposure and arrive without an active sunburn or significant skin irritation. Let your provider know about medications, prescription skincare products, recent cosmetic procedures, active breakouts or infections, and any medical conditions that could affect healing. Your provider will give you individualized instructions regarding products such as retinoids, exfoliating acids, or other active skincare ingredients.
After Your Treatment
Treat your skin gently and follow the aftercare instructions provided by your medical professional. Avoid picking, scrubbing, exfoliating, or using irritating active skincare products until your provider says they can be resumed. Protecting your freshly treated skin from sun exposure is especially important.
And yes—SPF is non-negotiable. 😉
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Some clients love the refreshed appearance of their skin after a single treatment, while concerns such as acne scarring, texture, fine lines, or more significant signs of aging may benefit from a series of treatments. Your provider will recommend a treatment plan based on your skin, goals, and response to treatment.
Your skin, elevated. 💕
Microneedling is not appropriate for every client. A consultation and skin assessment are required to determine candidacy. Treatment may need to be postponed or avoided with certain medical conditions, medications, active skin infections, open wounds, active inflammatory acne, impaired healing, or other contraindications. Results, recovery time, and number of treatments vary by individual. Microneedling is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
