Special one-day opportunity at Unique Esthetics Med Spa inside The Glam Cave of Kent.

We’re upgrading our professional microneedling pen and are selecting a limited number of clients to experience the treatment during an educational training and product demonstration session.

This appointment allows our team to become familiar with the upgraded device, evaluate treatment technique and client experience, and gather feedback.

Because this is an educational treatment session, participants must be comfortable with photography and video before, during, and after treatment.

Is Microneedling Right for Your Skin?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment that creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin to support the skin’s natural healing and renewal processes.

It may be appropriate for clients concerned with:

Acne scarring
Enlarged or visible pores
Fine lines and wrinkles
Uneven skin texture
Uneven skin tone
Certain types of superficial scarring
Dull or rough-looking skin
Overall skin rejuvenation

Individual results vary, and not every skin concern or skin type is appropriate for treatment. A consultation and medical screening are required before treatment.

A complimentary vitamin B12 injection may be provided to medically appropriate clients following screening and approval by the treating medical professional.

Complimentary treatments are subject to individual eligibility and may be withheld or modified if the provider determines they are not appropriate for you.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

For the best treatment experience, please follow all instructions provided by your treating professional. Unless your provider instructs you otherwise:

Avoid intentional tanning, sunburn and excessive sun exposure before treatment.
Do not arrive with irritated, broken, infected or actively inflamed skin in the treatment area.
Avoid waxing, depilatory creams and aggressive exfoliation on the treatment area for several days beforehand.
Avoid retinoids, strong exfoliating acids and other potentially irritating topical products before treatment as directed by your provider.
Tell your provider about all medications, supplements, recent cosmetic procedures and skincare products you are currently using.
Notify us if you have a history of cold sores, abnormal scarring/keloids, active acne lesions, skin infections or other conditions that may affect healing.
Arrive with clean skin whenever possible and avoid heavy makeup on the treatment area.

Do not discontinue prescription medications without first speaking with the healthcare professional who prescribed them.

AFTER YOUR MICRONEEDLING TREATMENT

Temporary redness, warmth, tightness, dryness, sensitivity or mild swelling can occur following microneedling.

After treatment:

Keep the treated area clean and follow the specific skincare instructions provided by your provider.
Do not pick, peel, scratch or aggressively exfoliate the skin.
Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs and other irritating active ingredients until your provider tells you it is appropriate to resume them.
Avoid excessive heat, saunas, steam rooms and strenuous exercise during the initial recovery period as directed.
Avoid swimming, hot tubs and other environments that could unnecessarily expose freshly treated skin to bacteria during early healing.
Minimize sun exposure and use appropriate broad-spectrum sun protection once your provider advises you to apply it.
Do not undergo additional facial, laser, waxing, peel or other aesthetic treatments until cleared by your provider.

Your provider may give you additional or different instructions based on the depth of treatment, products used and your individual skin.

IMPORTANT — EDUCATIONAL TRAINING & MEDIA REQUIREMENT

This is an educational training/product demonstration appointment and is not a standard promotional appointment.

By requesting this appointment, you acknowledge that the treatment is being performed in an educational setting involving an upgraded microneedling device.

Participants must be comfortable being photographed and recorded by photo and/or video before, during and after the procedure.

Images and recordings may be used for purposes authorized in the separate written photography/media consent presented to you, which may include provider education, training documentation, treatment progress documentation, and/or marketing and social media if you separately authorize those uses.

Participation in this special requires completion of all applicable treatment, medical and photography/video consent documentation before treatment.
